Ways to Use Lists

It’s always interesting to find out how other list makers do it…make lists, I mean.  What works for one person might not work for someone else.  I think it takes some trial and error to figure out what works best for you and will make you most productive.  Here is a guest blog from Darla Arni — she’s a speaker and author: Read more

Happy Birthday to My Blog!

Wow — I can’t believe it’s been one year since I first started this blog. What began as a hobby for a compulsive list maker has turned into much more than that. I’ve heard a lot of you guys saying that my blog has inspired you to start a blog of your own and it brings me so much joy knowing I’ve inspired something that major! I really hope you guys all enjoy creating your blog, I know I certainly do.

That being said, the competition online can often seem overwhelming! There are steps you can take to help your blog stand out from the rest, however.

The Power of Lists

When you put a task down on paper – you set the intention to reach that goal. No matter if we’re talking about doing the best job at work or at home — lists will help you be more successful.  From grocery shopping, planning events, keeping track of your projects or going on vacation — a well-organized list will help you do more.

Recently I was asked to give some list-making tips and tricks on “The Joyful Organizer” Internet radio show.

Finding Success Through List Making

Dr. Shannon Reece

Making lists will make you successful. I’ve said it a zillion times because it’s definitely worked for me. I’m an Emmy award winning TV producer and staying organized through list making has helped me to stand out in my field.

This is just one tactic for achieving more at work and in other aspects of life. Dr. Shannon Reece has a website that offers strategies and tips for women in business. I was included in her post “89 Famous Quotes That Will Rock Your World,” — I’m number 55.  And she gave us “10 Ways to Create Free Time Out of Thin Air.”

I was honored to speak with her on her YouTube show “Spotlight on Success.”  The show is designed to give you a leg up on starting and maintaining a great business.  I’m excited to hear what you think!

I’m a hopeless romantic — what can I say? I love Valentine’s Day! (I didn’t mean for that to rhyme.) I really think it’s sweet to have a day dedicated to love. However — I know many of you will say — why not be sweet all year long. Well…true. So for those people — I resisted the urge to be extra sappy with this post and instead decided to be realistic.

I enlisted the help of Susanne Alexander — she’s a relationship and marriage coach. Her guest post is all about how list making will help you have a much better relationship. Here’s her take on lists for love: Read more
