Get Anything Done For Five Dollars

I have said time and time again that just because you can do something doesn’t mean that you should! As you may know, I am a huge believer in outsourcing your life – it saves you time, energy, and the stress of juggling too many things at once.

There are so many great outsourcing apps out there that I have reviewed before like WunWun, and TaskRabbit, but for today’s “Fab Find” I want to introduce you to another hire-for-help website I just discovered called Fiverr.

Fiverr is one of the largest marketplaces for service, but it differs from other outsourcing sites.  Every task is only $5.00 – how awesome (and cheap) is that?!  Other sites will get the job done, but it can get pricey depending on what you need done.

The site offers 11 different categories of services to search through. You can find anything from graphics and designs to gift giving help. You are also able to review and rate each seller. This is helpful because you can browse through and see who would be best for your needs.

There are thousands of talented people waiting to help you at a great price.  Here are some ways that Fiverr could help you:

– Create a logo for business or personal use

– Make unique business cards

– Have someone create a personalized workout for you

– Get a Spanish lesson

– You can even hire a celebrity impersonator!

You can also use your skills to get hired and make some cash while doing something you enjoy. To sell a service – you create a “gig”, post it on the site, and you will be notified when someone orders it.
(However they do take 20% of your earnings!)

I know it’s hard at first to let others do things for you, but trust me, you will be so happy in the end that you did. Time is a valuable thing – so use it wisely by outsourcing your life 🙂

Fab Find: Get Paid to Shop

I try to be the first one to introduce my friends and coworkers to new ways to save time and money, so when a friend of mine told me about Ebates she was completely shocked that I had never heard of it before! Ebates, “where it pays to shop online,” is an online hub of over 1,600 different stores – all of whom earn you cash back when you order from them! You can now also do an ebates referral to help you out a bit. Being able to earn cash back, how great is that?

Ebates is great because it gives you actual cash back for your purchases – there’s nothing to redeem and there are no fees or forms involved! Just by ordering things I already needed from Sephora, Shari’s Berries, and Soap.com I’ve already earned over $20 back! Sometimes, saving a little extra is the best gift you can give yourself, and that’s why Ebates is this week’s Fab Find For Good!

5 Productivity Tips For Black Friday Shopping

christmas shopEven with some stores opening as early as 6 pm on Thanksgiving night, time is of the essence when it comes to Black Friday shopping if you want to score the best deals before time or inventory run out. I’ve personally given up Black Friday shopping all together in exchange for shopping early and scoring deals while still in my slippers on Cyber Monday. However you do your holiday shopping – it’s important to remember a few rules to shop smart:

1. One stop shopping. Stores like Amazon.com, Overstock.com, Target, and Walmart all carry a range of products from home goods to clothing to electronics. When you pick one store and do the bulk of your shopping there you’ll save time waiting in lines, money on multiple shipping costs, and the headache of tracking your “Black Friday Budget.” Read more

Fab Find: TalkTo App Is A Free Assistant

talkto copyA lot of people think that in order to save time they need to completely reorganize their schedule or give up doing one thing to make time to do another. What most people don’t realize, though, is how much time is wasted each week on hold with a customer service rep, searching for your size at the shoe store, and figuring out if the convenience store down the street sells your favorite paper soap.  Add that up over the course of a week or a month, and suddenly you’ll realize that you do have time to clean your apartment or take a yoga class.
