Happy Birthday to My Blog!

Wow — I can’t believe it’s been one year since I first started this blog. What began as a hobby for a compulsive list maker has turned into much more than that. This blog is now part of my everyday life — it’s a creative outlet and a passion. I really love it and am so thankful that all of you read it. Thank you!

I’ve heard a lot of you guys saying that my blog has inspired you to start a blog of your own and it brings me so much joy knowing I’ve inspired something that major! I really hope you guys all enjoy creating your blog, I know I certainly do. Don’t forget though that if you are starting a blog, then there are a few things that you need to do first. For starters, you need to make sure that you use a web hosting company for your blog (such as this website hosting canada company) and then you need to make sure that you write about what you love! I think blogging is a great way to express yourself and meet some amazing people. If you’ve been toying around with the idea of starting your own blog then I think you should just go for it and see what happens!

That being said, the competition online can often seem overwhelming! There are steps you can take to help your blog stand out from the rest, however. For example, if your website looks alluring and inviting, your readers are much more likely to stay around and read more of your posts. Ultimately, building an online presence is all about blending technical elements such as custom website design with your own voice and branding.

Furthermore, there are lots of people that will be willing to help you every step of the way. Hosting Foundry’s site shows you some great web hosting suppliers, you can ask in comments on blogs for help, and even reach out to bloggers to see if they will collab with you to get your blog up and running straight away. It’s just a matter of getting started because a lot can happen in just one year!

Here are some highlights from the past year:

1. Appearance on a live news web show — talking all about the power of lists!

2. My teleseminar with Meggin McIntosh helped over 600 people become list makers.

3. Writing an e-book just for moms called “The Top Ten Lists Every Mom Needs.”

4. Being named “New York’s Most Valuable Blogger.”

5. Getting quoted in Women’s Health Australia and Whole Living Magazine.

Thanks again to everyone who follows this blog! I’m looking forward to another great year with more videos on my YouTube Channel, more great tips from Featured List Producers and tricks to keep you productive and successful!

Happy Birthday to your blog! I just found you a few days ago via Fox News and plan to find the beginning of your blog and start from there. I like making lists as they help me to get things done, but I need more help and focus. I’m happy to have found you! Any chance you could tell me a quick way to find the start of your blog? Hope you have a happy day!

Thanks Jenny! So happy you found me! I hope I can help you be a bit more organized and productive. I think a good place to start on this blog is to click on the “teleseminar” tab – there you will find all the basics and can download the audio from the talk I gave in January. It runs through a lot of helpful list-making tips! Looking forward to hearing more from you and seeing how I can help.
      Thanks again!

Happy Birthday. Your site has been a part of my regular reading “list” since I heard about it last year. Thanks for making me chuckle (at myself & you) and learn some things … I’m happy to be invited to celebrate.
