Tune In For My Radio Show
Since I started ListProducer.com and wrote Listful Thinking I’ve been on my fair share of radio shows. It’s a nice way to meet new people, many of whom are often list makers themselves. Plus I always find we have really interesting conversations about what it really means to be more productive.
Although I’ve spent my career in television I like to think I know a bit about radio. My husband Jay works for CBS Sports Radio so I must have learned a little bit through the years!
So when Terri Trespicio, my friend and co-founder of our online video course Lights Camera Expert and I were approached to host our own show, we immediately agreed – what could be more fun?
That being said behind every radio show is an awful lot of work and we didn’t have a lot of time to put it all together. Luckily I put my producer hat on and got to work. It all started with a big list of show topic ideas, potential guests, deliverables for the studio, etc. And now everything is really coming together. I’m sure you’re going to love it! Plus it’s not just a radio show – we’re also producing video to go along with it and will stream it on our Facebook page.
The show is called Lights Camera Expert: Unleash Your Expertise and debuts on January 29th. Our first guest is Help A Reporter Out founder, entrepreneur, and PR maven Peter Shankman. I’ve always been impressed with the way Peter is able to establish himself in both the productivity and entrepreneur world – something I do myself.
The show is for professionals, experts, and entrepreneurs who want to learn how to get and keep attention from media, viewers, online users, and audiences. Every week, we’ll share insights and talk to industry insiders about how to position yourself for media, elevate your profile, and turn your ideas into media opportunities. Discover how to unleash your expertise onto the world, build brand awareness, and make a powerful impression to get the kind of attention you want most!
If you’re keen to listen in my sure to sign up for our email updates here so we’ll keep you posted. Tune in on Mondays at 3p Eastern on VoiceAmerica Variety Channel. Oh and if you miss an episode it’s not a problem – there will be replays on the website and the VoiceAmerica app as well was on iTunes and Stitcher.
