Declutter Your Closet in Time for Summer

DeclutterThe sun is coming out and so are the shorts and sandals! It’s time to check out trendy online boutiques to start creating your wardrobe for the summer!
The start of summer means packing away your coats, hats and gloves for hopefully the next few months, but it’s also a good time to clear out your closet. De-cluttering can often be a painfully time consuming task. Some people like to get it over with in one afternoon (with good music to motivate them) while others prefer to split it up into phases. Make THIS List This Summer

Any season is great for list making but summer is especially perfect.  There’s always so much I want to do and hopefully the weather cooperates.  With a busy schedule and summertime just around the corner, it’s a great time to make a list of goals to accomplish by the end of the summer.

My Summer Goals

1.  Go to the beach at least two times.  I grew up near the beach on Long Island and strangely enough I haven’t been on the sand in the summer in a few years.

2.  Read two fiction books.  I spend a lot of time reading lots of non-fiction for work and my own research that some of the stories I love to get lost in get put on the back burner.  Right now I’m reading Emily Giffin’s “The One & Only” and I have a few others on my list.  Check them out on GoodReads. 8 Wines to Try This Summer

First because my birthday is in the summer and I think everyone becomes attached to “their season.” But also I love cooking outdoors and enjoying great summer wines!  You know how I feel about Pinot Grigio but there are many others to choose from.

So get your spatula in one hand and your wine glass in the other and let the grilling begin! Here’s a list of great wines that I’ll be trying this summer for under $20:

  1. Enza Sparkling Rosé: Straight from Italy, this sparkling wine has a refreshing strawberry and green apple flavor. $15
