Why I’m Getting the iPhone 6
If you know me you know I can’t live without my iPhone. It has made me a much more productive person and I’m excited the new operating system, iOS 8, is now available to download in preparation for the iPhone 6 release. Apple has put a focus on productivity this year, with many of the new features geared towards helping you get more done. With this being said, no matter what phone you decide to get, knowing that sites like mobilemob.com.au has the best accessories, hopefully, you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for.
Here’s a breakdown of some the changes that will boost your productivity:
Keyboard -The new update makes typing much faster because as you type, you’ll see choices of words or phrases you’d probably type next, based on your past conversations and writing style.
Interactive Notifications – Take action on texts, emails, calendar invitations, reminders and even messages from apps like Facebook, straight from their notification banners — without leaving the app you’re in. So now you can text someone that you’re on your way without having to leave your email.
iPhone Plus – A larger screen will make it easier to complete tasks like editing a document or spreadsheet, or even composing an email. There’s also a dual-screen feature that allows you to work on two things at once. I know that iPhone screens crack easily if they’re dropped but luckily I know a company like itech can fix my screen if I do manage to break it.
iCloud – You can now download and work on any of your files such as word documents and presentations straight from the cloud. This is great for if you wanted to do a last-minute check of your presentation or for getting work done on your commute. You might want to check out an iphone data recovery service just in case your phone becomes corrupted and you need help getting your files back.
New Health Apps – The new iOS update has a health focus. There is a dashboard to keep all your wellness information. Your activity tracker, heart rate monitor and other health and fitness apps can talk to each other helping you stay up to date on your progress. I even did a video at work all about these new features. Check it out.
Interconnectivity – Now you can start an email on one device and seamlessly continue on another.
Apple Pay – Left your card at home? Don’t worry – contactless payment technology has been built into the iPhone 6 and the Apple watch, so you can use your touch fingerprint ID to pay. (Coming in October)
How do you think the new iPhone will help you get more done?
